    Don't judge me. Probably my inner country boy roots wanting to be let out of my city boy reality.

    I grew up next to a duck farm and after about a month you get used to it and don't smell it anymore. I remember friends visiting always complaining about the smell, but I couldn't smell it.

    I certainly wouldn't say I liked the smell though

    NOt kidding at all, I love that scent. My girlfriend's house, while in franklin township, has a pig farm that you can smell perfectly when the wind is right. Everyone says I'm weird, but I love it.

    Certain buildings have different aromas and that even depends on the time of year. I loved the farrowing house smell, not so much the nursery and the finisher, well it was always amonia smelling, but I've gotten used to it and our new building is better ventalated, so it's not as bad.
    You just get used to what you're around. Some people say it really stinks, I can't stand the cattle down the road. To each his own. :dunno:
