I just took a look at some of the pictures from other Appleseeds. I'm not trying to wimp out or anything but I see some positions that are just not possible for me. I was never able to sit with my legs crossed like that even when I was a child. I certainly can't do it now.

Sitting is one of the positions that are very customizable. I do an open leg stance, so does the hubby. Some guys kneeled at the last Appleseed. I saw a lady sit in a chair the whole Appleseed too. Don't let that scare ya

I doubt it would help at this point. I think I was born with ligaments made of non-stretchy leather. And you know what leather does when it gets old.

Sit cross legged? No way, no how. Like Supr, I don't bend that way anymore. Well I might bend that way but I doubt I will unbend

I can't get them in that lotus position, but I can sit like the Indians.

No problem. I can even do that Japanese sit on your heels, kneel position.
