    Same here, that's why it is good to have a living will with a representative who will do what you want. It's a hard decision, so cut your Aunt a little slack. Not giving medical treatment even to a 96 year old woman can seem like you don't love them. There is a huge amount of conflict going on. Just my opinion since I've been through it twice now.
    I know why she is doing it. I just don't like it. to me it is being selfish. because he has Alzheimer my aunt makes all her medical decision and my grandma says she is ready to go. I am getting updates I really don't think she will make it through the day. but at least she will be at peace.
