    my 96 year old Great grandmother is in the ICU at Martinsville hospital after suffering a heart attack, dieing bowels (due to lack of blood flow cause of her age), and has pneumonia. my aunt will not let her pass they are pumping her full of drugs and other things to keep her alive. :xmad:

    Sorry to hear about your GGrandmother WS :(

    Same here, that's why it is good to have a living will with a representative who will do what you want. It's a hard decision, so cut your Aunt a little slack. Not giving medical treatment even to a 96 year old woman can seem like you don't love them. There is a huge amount of conflict going on. Just my opinion since I've been through it twice now.
