I'm also thinking about picking up a cheap machete or two somewhere just for funsies.

I was thinking about a machete myself. I will bring a couple ESEE's and a Benchmade I have.

I guess I could look at doing that...I just hate to go out and spend money on something I KNOW will get destroyed...the kitchen knives I can sacrifice at this point. I don't use any.

I found my old "Rambo" knife I had from years ago. The handle got broken so I made an aluminum handle for it. My son has a 4 1/2 foot medieval sword but I don't think he'd appreciate the carnage I would bring to it.

I USED to cook everyday. Lasagna, meatloaf, fish, chicken, all kinds of stuff. Hard to want to cook when it's just myself some nights and my son is picky

nice. My son's second sword looks kinda like that one. It's not thick metal, kinda flexible (that way they got a neat whoosh sound when they were doing their forms with it at his TKD school) but I'm sure it'd hurt to be hit with it
