WTF happened on the "disarmed by Walmart" thread? I saw all the jackjawing back and forth and then tried to refresh the page and it was closed. Last post I saw was something about a guy's FIL buying a .38 and then shooting himself bc he was allowed to buy the ammo together? Are people just trying to stir stuff up?

I asked my friends with small kids to save me the plastic eggs when they are done with them. Thought I would fill them with flour and put them low on the backstop at the range. Might make a cool target.

He was trying to drum up support for a new law by using an anecdotal experience that struck close to home for him. Forgive me, but that's not a sufficient reason for a new law. If his FIL wanted to commit suicide, that law would not have stopped him, but it would sure as hell annoy a LOT of people trying to buy ammo.
