At least steel is cheaper than an AR.:D

    Yeah but, the list is:

    1. Surefire X300
    2. CAN for 10/22
    A. New Barrel for 10/22
    B. New Stock for 10/22
    3. SBR AR Build
    - Then all of the accessories for it.
    4. GOOD Blade
    5. Steel Targets.

Gonna need to spend A LOT of $$$ before I can get to the steel.

I would move the steel up. You can use that with ALL your guns.

Steel may get bumped up but, can't bump it past the 10/22. I have been bumping stuff over it for about a year now... I haven't done any NFA stuff before and it's time to take the plunge :rockwoot:

I dunno... The Pb/Cu splatters on impact because it's soft. Even if there's a lot of it. I think steel core would hurt it pretty bad. :dunno:

It's not cheap, so I'm not gonna try it. The targets will last damn near forever with regular ammo though so it's worth the cost.

I was hoping he was gonna make the 1/2" thick AR500 targets. I was gonna get one so I could use some of my old steel core ammo I have for various bolt actions and not have to worry about it. I think at a good distance over 100 yards the regular AR500 he uses now may be ok. I'll probably try it someday with one of my mosins, just to check.

I've just gotta get a range setup around here so I can give it a try. I'm gonna work on one out in our smaller woods once it dries out some.
