We are not sure either, we might drive up to my Dad's place. Rumor has it that he has been making his famous Salsa with maters from his garden....

A couple bottles of that is worth the 90 minute drive....

Went out to put the corn out and grab the camera cards. Mosquitoes swarming but I apparently had doused myself in enough Off to keep them away. I picked three tomatoes...probably the last three and an acorn squash to fix with the meatloaf for dinner. While I was out there, I picked a bunch of little pumpkins to take to the neighbor tomorrow to share with the residents at the apartments where she lives. I took all of my bags off of the fence so my garden is no longer deer proofed. We'll see how long before they go in there. Last fall, it took quite a while.

I am thinking I may go check the apples to see if I can find anything worth picking. Apple cake sounds good and I haven't made it for a long time.

Just got back from the gun show. Took Mom because it wasn't too crowded there this weekend. She got to see all the guns and knives and random ****. I picked up some .38 spl snap caps, which I haven't been able to find.

Stopped at one table where a guy was selling beat-up boxes of random ammo, and the guy said "Oh, that's ammo, honey". I told him I knew what ammo was and I would buy it from someone else.
