Processing a 4473 took 30 minutes the first time and over 40 the aecond time. Friend bought two handguns.

I guess they only had 1 computer to process paperwork and they have to have 2 people review the 4473, not just one. Prevents mistakes I'm sure, but takes way too long.

That is way too long. I made the mistake of buying something at Gander and it took over an hour. Won't do that again.

I was at Point Blank before Christmas and did not have an issue with brass flying over the stall. Must have gotten lucky.

Yeah, I know the process. Never takes me more than 10 minutes once they finish filling it out. 30 is just ridiculous.
