Surgery yesterday to open it up and help clear out the infection. Pain and swelling have both gone down so there is improvement. Hopefully he will be sent home tomorrow. Not sure how long he will be off work.

That sucks. Hope it all gets cleared up, and he has a full and quick recovery.
