    I personally don't care for the L. I know it is something I could get used to, if I had one though
    The wife likes the L better. The slide release is longer and she can use it. Until I just looked at the picture, I didn't realize they were different. Who knew?

    SW76 is a definite classic. One of my partners in the NFA business back in the 80's had a 76 that had been used to put down the Attica prison riots. Loads of documentation with the gun.

    I remember you mentioning that awhile back. Stuff with history is very cool.

    Wife carries a Colt Detective Special, bought it for her back in 1979.
    I bought a 1970 Colt Detectice Special with the Hammer shroud, but it was way to nice of a gun to carry. A buddy pestered me to sell it and I let it go.
