Ex-wife & oldest daughter are the same way.......Germophobes that have to have everything super clean and sanitized......And get sick all the time.
Myself & younger daughter are like MrsG, don't worry about it and rarely get sick..

don't get me wrong. I clean, I wash my hands after going to the bathroom and such. But I don't have to sanitize everything before I touch it. I know you do that as well

Yep...I agree with your point. Some of the people I know (like my Ex) that are fanatics about germs and keeping things SUPER clean (you could eat off of her floors) are the ones that catch every cold & flu that go around...
You need to let your immune system work on some stuff to keep it built up and healthy. My Wife did a paper in school while she was in Dietician training that shows that the Germophobes are often the ones with the worst allergy problems. If the immune system does not have enough to do, it will start reacting to foreign bodies that otherwise it would probably ignore....
