They had one, and around that price, used. You can get a new one at BGF for around $1500 or less.

This one is far from pristine. It's all original, but it has been used over it's lifetime...

I love jewelry. I actually prefer it not be diamonds. My sister recently gave me a really nice pair of black diamond earrings. I like them because they are unique, not because they are diamonds.

Would love to have an M1-A again but not paying that money for used.

I can build a Bad @$$ AR-10 with a seriously Bad @$$ optic for that money.

When I bought this 700 PSS, I went there to get an M1A1 scout. I put it in the back room and made the mistake of walking around the store, and found the 700 that they had just gotten in from an estate.

Humbling experience at the OGCA show in Columbus back in the 80s when it was explained to me that the difference between two identical Winchester 22s other than an "A" or a "C" stamped on them was $500. Lots of real pros at that show that I miss, now long gone.
