Humbling experience at the OGCA show in Columbus back in the 80s when it was explained to me that the difference between two identical Winchester 22s other than an "A" or a "C" stamped on them was $500. Lots of real pros at that show that I miss, now long gone.

You really have to do your homework on a lot of the older stuff. Little things can make big differences.

Would love to have an M1-A again but not paying that money for used.

I can build a Bad @$$ AR-10 with a seriously Bad @$$ optic for that money.

I want one bad, I just don't want to feed it. I like to pull the trigger a lot.

I will SBR it but due to health issues my brother and I are going to do a trust and I am waiting for that to get finished before I submit paperwork. I have a ton of surplus 308 that shoots great in it.
