Yeah, sucks when your so far from home and this happens. Glad he's back home. One of these days we'll be drinking margaritas and singing kareoki at the House of Blues!!

Yeah, wasn't a day I want to repeat. Didn't have that $400 in the budget.

That serpentine belt only had about 60K on it. Wasn't planning on changing it until the end of the year. Luckily when it finally quit going and the engine died, I was only 3 miles from the garage I was heading to. The AAA tow is free under 5 miles, so I didn't have to pay for the tow (other then the tip for the driver)

My daughters belt broke in Denver on the Jeep. She got lucky cause it broke a block away from a jeep dealership. Cost me $350. They towed it for nothing since it was so close. Belt had about 130,000 miles on it. Plus she takes it off road alot. Not sure how that effects a belt.
