Skulldaddy, here is my postings from earlier, I know that you already know about my car breakdown. Sucky day.

Had a sucky day yesterday. Was on my way to Cleveland yesterday. Wife had 2 days off so I was making a work roadtrip with her doing most to the driving.
Got an hour and a half out and the freakin serpentine belt and idler arm let go on the Caddy......:xmad:
$405 gone and I had to cancel my dinner appt with Skulldaddy and appt with client. Waited 4 hours between waiting for the wrecker and at Tire Discounters....:xmad: Very sucky day.....

Had something very "strange" happen while we was waiting for the tow truck (1 1/2 hours)

Sitting on an exit ramp on I-74 just outside Cincy. Both the Pass side doors open on the Caddy, wife is sitting in front pass seat with her legs outside and I am standing beside the rear pass door.
A old red Dodge minivan drove by, I noticed it because the paint was peeling back just like our 96 Dodge beater Van did. Van turned left and got back on the interstate going the opposite way.
5 min later this van enters out exit ramp again and stops on the shoulder 50' back from our car. Driver & pass appear to be urban utes. They just sit there for a couple of minutes, I am watching them.
Not getting a good vibe, and I'm not a paranoid person. Soooo, I pop the trunk and grab the holstered revolver I had in my suitcase and walk it around to my wife. I then take off my jacket, allowing the grips of my IWB SW3914 to me visible. And I'm wearing dress clothes, suit pants and white shirt, so I'm sure they could see the grip.
Van stays parked for about 30 more seconds, driver puts it in park and drives on up the ramp and disappears.
I may have over reacted, but my gut told me they were bad news....

Morning Skulldaddy, did you have a good evening???

Morning Sam! That sucks about the belt breaking. Really sucks that we couldn't get together last night. Was a really good night to sit out on E. 4th Street and have dinner. Hopefully you can make it back up soon. I don't think you over reacted with the van people. You never know these days. Better safe then sorry.

I'm now looking at a very cool IWB holster for my Rami. . . Thanks BA!!

From what I understand you can get the time cut down to two weeks for a price. Not sure what that price is. Looks like good quality stuff. Am thinking of getting a lefty IWB for the Rami when it's the bug. Oh, you're very welcome, my friend.

Morning check in. Flowers are doing well. Hummingbirds are happy that I put the feeders back out after taking them all down last night so the coons wouldn't dump them all out. They have been stealing the bird suet and dumping the nectar every night lately so I am just hiding it all at night. They better not kill my little wren in the birdhouse gourd house. She is working so hard over there to take care of her family. Last year, a coon got the one that was in there.

Bluebirds have moved into the new house I put up a couple of weeks ago.

Off to the beauty shop with the neighbor in a bit.

Good morning!! Sorry to hear about the car troubles, Sam. I agree with the others though...the people in the van sound like they were up to no good.

Morning mom. We had a hummingbird feeder in Michigan. They're fun to watch!

I'm up to 7 feeders this year. I have 3 to 4 hummingbirds at each one most of the time. There are more than ever this year. I have at least that many seed feeders and a few suet feeders. I love sitting on the swing watching the birds and the deer. Two of the deer now come into the yard at random times throughout the day and we can talk to them without them spooking. I love watching them and just enjoying the quiet of my back yard.
