    it will be a new gun, they may have used one they have shot for the catalog pics...wouldn't bother me in any case because I will shoot the heck out of it

    It just made me wonder about the durability of the rest of the coating too. I'm sure its a great gun. I just know I have revolvers that are pretty old with lots of rounds through them that don't look like that. :dunno:

    My 325PD which is also a Scandium frame with stainless cylinder in the same finish showed that ring quickly but the rest of the finish is wearing very well and it gets carried a lot. I wouldn't mind sending it to Robar to have a NP-3 finish done to it
