well good news/bad news

the boy was not bitten by fleas or bedbugs

seems I am a terrible Mom. He told me last week that he had a sore throat and it really hurt to swallow. I told him it was his hayfever/allergies and he'd be alright. Well it wasn't. He has strep throat and what we thought was bites, is a strep rash.

Thanks Sam. Me too...I hope we have a while before we have to take care of any of the others this way.

Hubby and my daughter had a nice day on their motorcycle ride. He took her to Chesterton and showed her where he grew up and where his grandparents lived, etc. He showed her the house he built before we moved here and they visited with one of his former neighbors. It sounds like they had a nice time together so that was a good start to his day.

Our vet's office is wonderful. They all cried with me and gave me plenty of hugs before they let me leave. I'm okay. I know it had to be done and I had a good cry earlier. It is better than letting him suffer.

It is nice to be among animal lovers who understand.
