Im considering a career change...any ideas? I officially hate my job...well more so my superiors and co-workers.

This is very true! but the ones I have to work with are the worst!
As far as what type of field or fields I want to work in? I really dont know:dunno:
I love planning/organizing things and Im a big fan of problem solving and enjoy a good challenge.
I have been with my current employer for 8-9 years or so and Im maxed out in pay and benefits. think about it...Im 30yrs old and I will never make more money than I do now if I continue working at this place. I have been maxed out at this place since my 2nd year there, I feel like I climbed the ladder to fast. I started out as a general laborer there and within a couple of months I became a machine operator and then a shift supervisor and now a level 2 operator....the only way I can advance would be to become a level 1 operator but that requires a Phd in acoustics and ultra sonics and I have already been told they have no use for a level 1...there are only 6 level ones in the county and they are company owners or DOT officials. I am 1 of only 14 level 2 operators in the country...sounds cool, but there is no job market for a level 2. what I do is "new" technology and there are very few facilities out there that can afford the machines that I operate..plus it cost a butt load of $$$$$ for the training.
I feel like Im stuck in a hole.:dunno:

    :dunno:
as far as I know anything that is state or federal is contracted out.
I've tested cylinders that say things like "property of the United States Government"

Thats what my mom said  she has been trying to get my sisters and I to becomes nurses for years. she is a nurse as well as almost every female on her side of the family..her brother is a nurse as well. no thanks..not for me:):

Step 1: Move to Florida. (Safe, because you can still carry there.)

Step 2: Get PADI certified as a scuba instructor.

    Step 3: ???

    Step 4: Profit!

Ok...you kids need to settle down. I've got Cubs-Nationals and Blackhawks-Predators up on the split-screen and a decent supply of Crown and Coke.

    Ahh....good times, good times. :rockwoot:

Well, I'm glad, given the fact that you're a Cubs fan and spend most of your days in agonizing depression, I'm glad you're having a good day for a change. :D

Well, why else did you think he needed so much Crown?

Srsly, though, I do really enjoy Crown and Coke. I haven't had any in quite a while, but it is really good stuff. :yum:

Good night computer. I've spend waaay too much money on you today. But in a few days it will pay off when I get my new Sig, ljungman, laptop, mags, aimpoint, kydex, holster, and other assorted gear. Yes, it'll all be worth it. :spend:

You people all suck. I've been building a computer today after uselessly trying to save an old AMD 2400... I finally just looked at the lady and told her for $230 I can build her a damn good computer with the base she already had. Thank God she went for it cause if I would have had to sit through one more "Check out this porn site NOW" ad and watch the computer take 10 minutes to restart I would have pulled my hair out! :runaway:

Now if I could just find someone with a working, downloaded version of SP3, I'd be sitting pretty and I could FINALLY go to bed.

You would get more done if you'd quit watching porn.
A co-worker just dropped off a tower that he says won't boot up, so I have a bit of work ahead as well. :)

I couldn't help it. It just kept popping up. And since it was an expendable drive, I couldn't help but keep watching the free movies! :D

The first question I usually ask is if there's anything on the computer that's irreplaceable. If not, good to go. If so, pull the drive, use backup xp drive with antivirus, pray to God you can extract the important stuff before you wipe it clean... :n00b:

Welp. Back to updating her computer. Maybe I can have it done before the kids get up to go to school. :)
