It does help that 7.62x39 is a little cheaper than .223. The SKS would be a fun rifle to take.

I'm kinda hoping to do the Fort Wayne Appleseed this 17-18 APR with my Dad. He doesn't have a rifle, but I have a 10/22 and an SKS, so I guess we'll have to figure out who uses what. I only have a scope on the SKS, so perhaps he should use that one since his eyesight isn't as good as mine.
