I need to add some oil to my Jimmy, but can't get the friggin hood to unlatch...
The cable is being pulled by the lever, but don't feel it release at the latch.
No matter how much cable I pull, it won't release.

If I can't control my temper with this piece of crap, the whole friggin grill is getting ripped out

I asked the wife to help me and it worked...I had her pull on it, while I pried it with a screwdriver

It was all gunked up with grime and under the hood crud...keeping it from moving freely.

I sprayed some engine cleaner on it and loosened right up.
