Check out the chive today. Lots of cool cars. I'm not going to post a link because of some of the other stuff they have.
NSFW- don't open it there, no nudes, but stuff that could cause trouble.

Saw this today. Hubby said no since he just redid the front brakes on my old truck and says I have to wear those out first. This could take a while.

beautiful 1986 chevy suburban w-pull rite hitch $6500.obo

My '89 suburban has a 350 in it and I get 17.5 mpg with it. I try to run mid grade or premium since I don't put a lot of miles on it, but I'm quite pleased as I never expected that kind of mileage with it.

That's impressive, especially for that vintage.

When my 2002 Silverado with 5.3L was new, I got 20 mpg combined and a couple of times got 22 mpg when it was all highway and interstate. Now I get about 16 mpg.

    And the damage is...

    Upper and lower radiator hoses
    Upstream and downstream O2 sensors
    Rack and pinion
    #3 fuel injector
    Valve cover gaskets
    Left driver-side wheel bearing

The only one of those that I don't want to tackle is the rack and pinion. Anybody want a side job?

I need to pick up my motor mount I ordered from Napa. I had ordered some from summit and went to replace the broken one Saturday, turns out there are 2 different kinds... Guess which I got... I have been nursing the one that I glued back together with The Right Stuff. The motor torques towards the broken one, otherwise I wouldn't have done that...
