Is that a 3/4 ton? If it was a half ton, I bet my husband would be interested in it. We were sort of half way looking for something to replace my '88. I'm almost afraid to do it with something too nice though because I won't want to drive it in the salt and I don't need another summer driver. That's the same body style as our '78 but it is very rusted out and currently has a huge bee hive under the dash. I am not getting back in that thing until about January....one got me on the upper lip the last time we used the truck. I ended up in a lawn chair on the back going down the road. Beverly Hillbillies has nothing on us! We were just going down to the neighbor's house to cut down a tree limb that was hitting his garage roof so it wasn't far, but I did get a couple of funny looks.
It's a 1/2 ton. Those came about at the same time they were doing the Bonanza trucks and the Gentleman Jim.

Churchmouse. Very true the technology is just insane. 20yrs agao who would thought you would need a lap top to tune a carbureted motor? I wouldn't have. And no there is nothing easy about it. Don't know what electronics are allowed in pro/ super pro. Now there's digital ignitions, data loggers, power adder controlers, air shifters, not tomention fuel injection...and some cars have all these things. There's a point when you don't really have much of any down time between rounds. It can be crazy

    Super pro is pretty intense.
Delay box that you put in your dial in and your opponents.
When the bottom yellows light up you release the button, mat the throttle, hang on while the engine is limited on the box and if you have done your work the car launches on its own on time off the "T" brake..
Shiftnoid moves the gear lever on a rev chip and you just keep it pointed in the general direction of the stripe.
Pro is more on the driver. You have the car staged up and finger on the "T" brake button. Leave when you feel the need.

limited at 4800 on the chip matted pedal.

Best looking of old Mustangs would be the 69 mach 1 IMHO. The 68 Shelby close behind.

I see the 15 on the side now in the ad. I should have figured it out from that.

I'll share the ad with him and see what he thinks. I don't know how many trucks I can drive though.:)

Well you can only drive one at a time, but there are 7 days in a week and 365 days in a year.

Good point, and he can only drive one motorcycle at a time so if he can have enough for each day, I should have that many trucks. I like the reasoning here. I can actually buy TWO more trucks (I'm being nice and including his in the count)!!!

I like the Cobra but the tail lights remind me of a Cougar and look out of place. The ugliest Mustang has to be the one called Eleanor. I do not see what anyone finds good looking in that car at all.
