3.4 GM is not an engine I would choose for reliability....
I can also think of more than a few cars I would rather sink the money into as well. Hell, I'd do a monster Miata before the Fiero and I am not a fan of Blue Ovals or Miatas.

I have never seen a factory 4 barrel Pontiac 326/350.
Not saying they did not make them.
What engine? Guy in Iowa had a 3800 supercharged swapped in one. I wanted to go flog it so bad....
The Sprint 6 is an awesome engine. There were two at the show last week. One restored and one barn find. The barn find was a drop top with a manual trans. Very cool.IIRC Pontiac had 326/350 HO's that were 4 barrels and even a slick little 6 cylinder OHC that had a 4 barrel.

Yeah those and the Northstar caddy engine. The 3.8 looks right at home in there...That's been a popular swap for a while. When I worked at a local tore shop in the mid 1990's, one of the service writers had one. Quick car.
I'd have a hard time deciding between a swapped fiero and a swapped Miata... The fiero is at least, or was cool at one point... The Miata is still and always will be a chick car...I can also think of more than a few cars I would rather sink the money into as well. I did at one point think about one for a budget race car. They would be fun, just so long as I didn't have to look at it...FTFY. That's who I see driving them now, we have 3 or 4 customers who fit that bill. Lol.
Don't forget the porno 'stache!Yes....BUT the requirement to have a mullet to drive the Fiero really makes it a hard choice!
I just found out about a new one the other day.... I'll post it later.I think the other thing that turned me off of Fieros were all the fake Ferrari body kits.
Seems like I once heard a story about a guy stuffing an American v8 into a small light British sports car...
