Prepping this one up today to cut in the jambs tomorrow. Then final block sand the body, squirt the paint on and send her out the door!

Also got the blaster hooked up this morning and tested it out. Works awesome! I have waited years to have my own blaster, now I can blast whatever I want whenever I want. Pretty friggin excited right now.

I cant get a bike frame in my blaster. Maybe a 20" frame.
What medium are you using.

That's a 20" frame. Skat Magic is the media, that's what came with the blaster, I like it so far. It leaves a finish in between glass beads and aluminum oxide. I usually use aluminum oxide for most stuff, glass beads for finer finish work.

I have aluminum oxide in mine as well. You have to work a bit harder with the rough stuff.

Yes, work smarter and faster not harder.... Media lasts a lot longer as well.

Clear done! Turned out really nice. Lots of firsts for me today, first time painting on a car without a booth, first time painting with the doors on the car, first time spraying with Sherwin Williams paint. Very very pleased with everything!

Owner picked it out. It's got a gold metallic in it, under a bright light it POPS! Has some pearl qualities to it. Gonna looks really sweet with a white vinyl top. If you miss this one on the road, you're either texting or blind.

Thanks! We've still got some work to do as far as ventilation and keeping the dirt at bay. Of course it helps when you don't have to have the doors open to clear out the shop and nobody else there to kick up dirt while walking around...
