    Sooooo after some calculations.... with flat tops, .041 compressed head gasket, and 64cc chambers, the static compression ratio would be 10.25:1. With my cam at central Indiana elevation that gives a dynamic compression ratio of 8.47:1 with a hair shy of 170psi cranking pressure. Is that cheapo 87 territory or is that 93 with a bottle of octane booster territory?

    If you put enough timing in it you will most likely need the 93. You could back it down and loose some scoot and run 87 but why. You run 87 in the family mini van yes. If you get out and run shy on fuel you can put some miserly 87 in it pull the vac advance to get home just go easy. HP aint cheap. All he way around.
