This is what I drove to lunch in today.....

It rolls on a complete aftermarket frame/suspension with coil overs on all 4 corners and disks all around.
468 FE based stroker with Edelbrock heads a Comp Hyd roller set up and the coolest electronic old school looking F.I. system I have ever seen.
This thing rolls out. I almost fell in love with a Ford today heaven help me. So much cool.

Have you picked out a wheel/tire combo yet CM?

Man I am thinking straight up old school on this one. Cragers......Maybe. Just thinking. Not got past that yet.
The existing are going bye bye.

The air ride is going away as well. I already have it sold as soon as it comes off the car.

I have to look again but I believe it has 3 pumps and 3 tanks. The car will dance.....literally.

Crager S/S with the rear high like 1972!

Typical old school stance. Just the right amount of rake. Mini-tub the back. 10" wide Cragers in the back and 6" in the front. The body is solid save for the drivers fender. If it can be saved (I am told it can be) we are thinking Dark Cherry Metallic.

My older brothers both had 1964 Impala SS's about 1973 or so. My father bought them as a pair from a repo man.
Both 327 4 speeds one dark blue one dark cherry both had silver interiors.
The factory silver interiors look cool and are different than you typically boring colors.
Back in the early 80's I used to street race against a 409 4 speed car used to bend push rods almost every night.
Clackty clackey he would pop off the valve cover grab a hammer pound the stud back in then a new pushrod.
Good as new until the next 7000 rpm shift

We all went in together and picked up the jig to drill and pin the rocker studs. It worked.
I did punch a few push rods through the rockers.
If the lifter stayed in the hole easy fix. If not.......:(
