Some retard at Kotaku UK wrote up a chunk of garbage about how a song in the new Smash Bros DLC includes a disability slur...

They didn't say "might", or "may", or "could". No, he outright claims it does.

Well, he's wrong. He misheard a lyric, or just took the "ResetEra" thread at face value... wrote up some nonsense... and hit "publish".

It's an asian singer, and the lyric makes absolutely no sense if it's "retarded". It's closer to "retarget", or someone else claims it's "wreak havoc". Who knows, but it ain't "retarded".

These people hate games, they just look for reasons to feign outrage. The song has been out for two years.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Persona 5 DLC Includes a Disability Slur | Kotaku UK

Edit: He even admits not being able to confirm his claim. He published this before the PR people got back and answered his inquiry. It's all about farming those outrage clicks. ****in' Kotaku is garbage.

Edit2: Corrected the "gender" in this post. This is "Laura Kate Dale"

Okay. So the only reason men have an advantage in the sports that are popular today is because all those sports were designed by men. No one is stopping women from designing sports.

Men's and women's bodies are different. If you want to design sports so that it challenges every physical ability at the highest levels, they're just not going to be the same sports. If you design sports so that both men and women can be equally competitive, it's going to be something like billiards, where physical attributes like speed, strength, endurance, reflexes, aren't the primary determinants. This guy is simply delusional.

And why is it that SJWs all talk the same? I mean, listening to this ********** talk was a lot like listening to Christina Ford's annoying voice and pronunciation. I bet if this dude said "hippocampus" it would be competitive with Ford. Painful. Hey. Maybe that should be a sport. See who can endure listening to SJWs the longest.

This sh*t is cut from the same cloth as the leftist attempts to deligitimize the republic's founders by virtue of many of the *gasp* being slaveowners and *double gasp* Jefferson is thought to have fiddled one of his slaves-'thetefore everything they did and said is automatically wrong.

I remember a conversation on INGO about evolving morality, and that we can't simply judge people of history by the morals we've achieved now. A certain member did not agree. The things people did wrong in the past are still wrong. It took a long time for people to realize that those things were wrong. It doesn't invalidate everything they did.

I'd liked to have heard the parts on both ends of the clip to see how the exchange started and ended. What a condescending ****. I dunno. Maybe he really was mansplaining. But she was damn sure ****splaining. She thought she'd be really smug and call that out in a Senate hearing. I dunno. Maybe that's how they roll down under. But she was out of line.
