People would not have to be rounded up and deported. Simple solution would be cut off all gov't benefits and heavy fines on anybody who would hire them. Most would leave on their own.

True. We could kind of smoke them out. I would fully support giving them a ticket home and maybe $100 to gtf out of the country with an understanding of jail time and hard labor if they return illegally. Got an anchor baby? Take them with you. Unless we change the 14th amendment, or have it read properly based on intent, they can come back at 18.

    choosen by whom?

    The Democratic party.

I was going to say liberal whites, but democratic party leadership is close enough.

The term "anchor baby" when speaking of people here illegally is simply a lie. Just something they use to make it seem like we have no choice but to keep them all here.

I had no idea we had so many anti-free market capitalists in this site. No wonder socialism is taking hold. I mean if the conservative aren't friends of the free market....

Any economist will tell you that if the big problem is unemployment and underemployment the absolute best solution to that is to introduce 12 million new unskilled workers to compete for the few jobs available. Oh, wait...

I think we've had this discussion before. If there [STRIKE]were[/STRIKE] could be no national borders I would agree with you. But a nation has a right to determine the participants in its market.

I don't know...maybe if we brought in Mexican, Guatemalan, or other Central American police officers to help the city budgets? I mean free market supporters would support the concept, even as it would apply to government/civil servant jobs as well...even if they would work for 1/2 or 1/4 the pay, would they not?

The whole "round 'em up and send them away" argument would cost us way too much and damage our economy. Damage to the economy would likely exceed $1.6 trillion and the GDP would take a very big hit, too. Guess some people wouldn't care about that, though.

The Conservative Case Against Enforcing Immigration Law
Expand e-verify for employment. Crack down on those ineligible for public assistance. No drivers licenses. Heavier penalties for those employing illegal immigrants. The problem will soon solve itself.

Yeah, whatever happened to the idea of 'self-deportation'? That doesn't sound all that expensive to me.

Hence why you won't find Americans that understand the free market calling themselves a pure capitalist. They are as bad a pure socialists.

Purism is just a synonym for extremism.

I consider myself a free-market capitalist, but I recognize that pure isn't practicable nor scalable. I think most people who call themselves free-market capitalists understand that as well. There's no inconsistency identifying oneself as a free-market capitalist while understanding that borders are necessary until they aren't necessary.

That might make some things easier. With those guys we could take care of traffic tickets right there on the spot, with no messing around with courts, points off the license, and all that nonsense. A few bucks out of pocket and you're on your way.

Seems to be working. Heck one of the basis for obama's orders if is they have an anchor baby

You cant have a free market movement of labor when people can come into the country and almost immediatley get all kinds of free stuff as happens now.

Expand e-verify for employment. Crack down on those ineligible for public assistance. No drivers licenses. Heavier penalties for those employing illegal immigrants. The problem will soon solve itself.

I agree. Make it miserable for them and most will leave, or at least go to states that want them. THey will leave states where the people dont want illegals in their homes, swimming pools, theatres or schools.

Liberal whites think its way to cruel.

And your problem is, you have no idea why what you wrote paints you in a negative light.

calling it like it see it? Oh well. Look at our nation. The more political correct it gets and more "progressivre" the worst it gets. Back in the 20s or 30s i think you could get a gun from a comic book ad. There was not the violence there is now? Cant say that now. Lots of changed not all good

If me pointing out how they are hispandering without regard to the nation then I am aware of what I am saying. I fail to see how the ones wanting to do it don't get called out
