    The latch on that electrical panel is not secured...you'd flunk an electrical safe work practices audit if the auditors saw many of those. :D

    Yeah, we're an aluminum diecaster and semi-permanent mold foundry. The only good thing about winter is it makes it tolerable inside.

    That latch is secured better than most.
    Hard to latch 50 year old equipment been brutalized like this stuff has, and the wiring diags are non-existant.
    I would say 90 percent of our latches can not latch better than that.
    And changing all the latches in a 22 square mile facility? :faint:

    Besides, can't open the door more than an inch anyway.
    Some idiot ran conduit across the corner of the door.
    We just cross our fingers it won't bite us. Too many other things to fix that we do have diags for.

    I can tell you're not subject to the UAW Center for Health and Safety. :)
