    I can tell you're not subject to the UAW Center for Health and Safety. :)

    We celebrate when we have a year without a death AND no amputations.

    When I hired in 20 yrs ago, I think we were at 505 deaths. I think we're somewhere around 520 now, but I'd have to check. And that info isn't in the 'net.

    Here is a letter they put up nov or dec.
    It's about OSHA recordable Iinjuries. The went back thru history and evaluated iinjuries as if there had been an OSHA.

    Actually i think AM might be bigger here as well....if you add the old riverdale, LTV, Inland, and Bethlehem plants all together....which are all now a part of AM, along with the South Chicago Railroad, and Burnam Trucking...all owned by Arcelor Mittal......not sure, but it would be close between the two. Suffice it to say that the two make up the VAST majority of the steel producing capacity in NWI.....

    Oh yes, when you add 3 plants all together then you can beat my 1 plant.
