A recent acquaintance of mine who may end up being better friends later told me about a game called "Knockout King." He's black and has still been on the receiving end of this game twice, although he said it usually is a small to medium sized group of black "yutes" walking together attacking a single white person. The way the game works is the group picks one of their group to be the "knockout king." That "yute" has to go and approach the white person with some sort of story to get in close and then sucker punch them. If the white person is knocked out cold the group moves on and the "hitter" wins the game. If the white person is not knocked out in one punch, the group runs over and "jumps" them as a group until they feel like leaving...not necessarily when you get knocked out. In this case the "hitter" loses and may get jumped themselves.

After he told me about it, a google search revealed that it happens in urban areas, but isn't extremely common although this guy seems to think it's on an upswing. Good thing is if you are knocked out there is a good chance you wake up alone with a fat lip. If you fight or struggle you get jumped by a group.

Seems like a good time to know how to deal with unknown contacts and keep people away, know pre-fight assault cues to know when a strike is imminent, and be ready to fight through the first guy while preparing weapons to deal with the group if needed...or fight through guy 1 and then de-ass appropriately.

I shoot the lead singer, then the backup dancers. By the time they get to the "stomp" routine they've learned never to sing acapella versions of Cher songs around me ever again.

That's awesome! I tried to rep you, but INGO's socialist rep system ('spread it around') won't let me. :rockwoot:

Not being there is the best possible scenario, but if you get boxed in and you're given no other choice then the only course of action is clear. Kill as many of these worthless animals as possible, as violently as you can, until you can make it to the trunk to get your rifle and chest rig/armor. Find a defensible position and contact LEO/EMS and let them know what's going on. You don't wanna be the guy standing in knee deep death when the cops show up to a shots fired call. 16 year old Johnny is all about being hardcore and hurting someone until you turn his best friend's face into a canoe. Kill early, kill often, then show up at the funerals with a bill for your ammo and services rendered.

Example: You're at the mall (Circle Centre, Greenwood, Castleton, Lafayette Square) shopping at Victoria's Secret for lingerie with your mistress when the "flash mob" busts through the door. This is a case of WPWT. Unass the store, or barricade in the office, as was said. The big part of this scenario is situational awareness (SA.) Being at the mall is not necessarily a bad thing, but being there on Friday or Saturday night at 7PM is a WPWT incident, and within your control. Keeping your SA keen and always looking for threats is your first line of defense.

Being at Lafayette Scare at ANY time is a WPWT scenario. The last shooting there was at 2PM on a thursday, if memory serves correctly

it's because of this but he probably didn't want to just come out and say it
I'll say it. Black expo is a big friggin' JOKE. It's nothing more than an excuse for a bunch of parent-less losers to run around like wild gorillas, in a completely lawless manner doing whatever they choose knowing full well that they can and will play the race card when the piper comes calling. Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying here, I am not racist, just pointing out what happens when white guilt takes over and equal becomes something more. I'm still waiting for equality....white expo, mens lib, etc....but that will never happen because then there will be an example set and the wild "yutes" will no longer have an excuse for their actions........

This could be what the OP was alluding to . the IBE has had its problems in the past. Not saying other events in Indy have not had the same problems. Any time you have large numbers of people together, the economy is bad,the temperature is high and stress levels are high and people feel oppressed and they are being told just how bad they have it. Flash Mob attacks will happen.

Yeah, I threw that in for a chuckle...but forgot the purple! Much agreed sir!

    (It has been fixed...:D)

As recently as about 2005, we used to go walking at Lafayette Square, just to get exercise. After LS Ayres and Sears left, there was no longer anything there to attract us, so we stopped going. These days, I'm surprised there aren't more clashes between the two 'major' minorities who inhabit the area in increasing numbers.

Hmm. Maybe my search-fu is weak. Is there already a thread around here for 'worst neighborhoods in Indy', or places you definitely don't want to go with only a pocket pistol, or something like that? Seems like a good sticky thread.
It's sad to say, but we as prepared individuals have to prepare our minds and bodies for even a simple outing to the store. We have to think ahead about what we're going to wear, need and carry; maintain situational awareness; carry and train on what we're going to need and fight with, and all the meanwhile fight off complacency. If we don't, we become sheeple.
Yes, exactly and well said.:rockwoot:
