He's what they are looking for, somebody who the lefties can at least vote for that big money knows will deal. Maybe a combination with Mayor Pete if Hillary stays out, but she would carry more of the left.

My personal opinion is that he's WAY too late to the party.

If he had been among the first few, then some of the ancillary people probably wouldn't have joined the fray. (Not the band.) I'm not really sure if he'll tack away from the all-socialism winds, but he'd be wise to do so. But that just puts him in the same bucket as Buttigieg.

No no no... it’s not socialism, you need a new word. Apparently we are already socialists.

The trajectory of our society is heading that way (along with most of the "western world"), so you're not wrong about that.

But, I spent a few years paying quite a bit of money to know what the word means (along with a bunch of other words, like "student loan forebearance") and I'm pretty sure I'm using it correctly.

The most divisive president in modern history has been a black man. Sadly, I don't think that America, as a whole, will forget that for some time.

I'll wait around to be called a racist...

    ...again...

I'm not so sure about him being way too late. I don't get the feeling that D voters are particularly excited by the group of D candidates.

The difference is, under socialism everyone would have to work to receive any benefits.

These democrats don't want socialism, they want a welfare state. Furthermore, they want a welfare state established based on racial preference. And in large part, they already have created it.
That's why I like Yang's concept, at least with it they can't manipulate it for vote farming minorities and attempting to create class warfare.
