Not one person has mentioned the anti-tank performance of this wall. And I figure it's been at least a hundred years since there's been any concern of a military land invasion to the US.


So if this is a military expenditure within the purview of the DoD, then it's the biggest boondoggle ever.

This is a rationalization. Using it to get funding for something Congress refused to fund is not the purpose of emergency powers. Neither is telling companies what they have to produce. But you bet they have a rationalization for that too. He’s just heading the emergency action demanded by Greta. The world will end if we don’t stop carbon now!!!

C’mon man. It’s not okay just because you like the result. Granted, Trump’s misuse of emergency power is abuse, but not to the degree as controlling what companies may build and market. However, Trump opened a completely new avenue for government authority that had been put in check by precedent. I’m sure Democrats can’t wait to occupy the chair so that they can wield it for everything congress won’t give them. It’s pen + phone on steroids.

As you said throughout impeachment, the courts get to decide what is allowed under emergency power, they are the arbitrator...
