Politico is reporting that two democrats in Florida are suing, saying Sanders is not a dem and should not be on the dem ballot..

Two Florida Democrats are suing to block Bernie Sanders from running as a Democrat in the state’s March 17 presidential primary.

In the lawsuit filed Monday in circuit court in Leon County, the plaintiffs ask that Sanders be disqualified from the Democratic primary because he’s a declared independent.

The Florida Democratic Party labeled the complaint “ridiculous,” and the Sanders campaign called it “spurious.”

The complaint also seeks to prevent state election officials from counting any votes Sanders has already received. More than 244,000 Democrats have already voted by mail in Florida.

Karen Gievers, a former circuit court judge representing Frank Bach and George Brown, both Tallahassee Democrats, said Sanders should not be allowed on the Democratic ballot.

Both of these are actually correct. Mao's "Great Leap Forward" from 1958-62 killed roughly 50 million, mostly by starvation. In 1978, roughly 90% of China's population live on less than $2/day. Since then, China took a page from the western/free market model (but not the whole book) easing up restrictions on business and allowing people to benefit from their own labor (what a concept!). This allowed over a billion people to lift themselves into the middle class over 40 years and a smaller number to various levels of larger wealth. Very good from an economic perspective, but still a totalitarian nightmare.

Bottom line, the thing that pulled people out of poverty was not communism, but rather capitalism, to the extent that China opened up their markets and privatized their economy. But I suppose one could say that those who died from the mass killing and starvation were released from their poverty.

I just finished a video and and switched to broadcast. It happened to be on ABC and Liz Warren was spouting scripture and then they went to Butt and he started the same thing.
