    .
By the way, that's very cool, and classy ensemble of weaponry Leadeye ! :yesway:

Thanks MM, except for the whiskey they are all from the same era. The rifle is 1907, the Colt SAA in 44-40 is 1902 and the Heiser holster can only be dated from 1900 to 1924.

Yeah I am drooling over here.

I actually lucked-in to that hat, long ago..... it's a good story, so please let me tell it. :)

There is a yearly rodeo in the small town of Walden, Colorado .... north, almost into Wyoming, and it's mostly a rodeo of local participants .... but very serious ones !
So, I had forgot my usual hat .... left it at home. With my bald head, I needed something, as the Rocky Mountain sun will burn-up your head in no time flat.

The town was so little, that there wasn't anyplace to buy a western hat, so I ended-up driving 80 miles (round trip) to a fabulous western clothing store. There sat that hat .... a Stetson, made from beaver. :wwub: Now mind you ..... this hat was pre-owned as were 50% of the other cowboy hats. It had belonged to a 'local' rodeo hero, the sales lady told me ... she had dated him !

I snatched-up that hat for $50 (and found out later that they sell new for $800 ..... yes, that's right, EIGHT HUNDRED freakin' dollars). It fit me perfectly.

I drove back to Walden, CO, and made it just in time for the start of the rodeo.

    --- THE END ---

My collection dates from Roy Rodgers, to Bruce Willis. 1894 to MP5.

Imagine a really cool picture here...

    Good story on the hat.

Thanks ! ..... I found a photo that I took from the small bleachers. It was called the "Never Summer Rodeo". As you can see, it's staged in an arena with quite a lovely backdrop of mountains.
