OK. It is time to put my 10 year old laptop on the shelf to rest.
    I need a new one.

You computer savvy guy's......what and where.
I do not need something that will plot a course from my house to the moon or hack the defense network to battle SkyNet. My Google-Fu is possibly 3rd grade level judging by how the terrorists run my devices so something with a decent screen and keyboard.

This is what I bought the wife a couple of years ago:

    https://smile.amazon.com/Dell-Infin...8?keywords=dell+xps+15&qid=1571913732&sr=8-18

I thought the screen and keyboard were excellent and it has enough performance to last a while. If I were buying a new laptop I would give it serious consideration. That said, you could most likely find something that would fit your needs and is less expensive, but I haven't looked around at laptops lately so I don't know what is reliable that I would recommend... :dunno:

    Morning everyone.

Anxiously awaiting some deliveries today. One of which is an SLA adjustable gas block to combat the serious overgassing my 7.62x39 AR had when running suppressed. I've never had an adjustable one before, but this one seemed to be very popular and user friendly.

Also have a Holosun HS407C micro reflex sight to play around with on my G19. My last attempt at this was on a FN 509 Tactical and while my accuracy at distance improved, I struggled with finding the dot quickly when drawing from a holster and aiming. However, like most things I give a try, I gave up rather quickly instead of spending more time with the setup to get better. In the long run, it will probably end up on a .22 pistol and the G19 will either get an upgrade or just go back to irons.

There has been a steady stream of parts/pieces arriving at the mouse compound. 1 more in the mail and all of my AR upgrades will be complete.
Consistent operation through the entire fleet.

I've been kinda doing something similar. The AR is perfect for doing this also, kinda like what BA does with his CZ'S. Diversity within, but same base design.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

I moved the 6x24 Hawke to the Ruger scout last night. I need to find some time to dial it in now. It’s not the best solution, but hopefully, it lets me play on the 400 yard line next FGE. The Confederate now has the 4x12 and also need dialed in.

What range do you guys zero your .308s at?

I’ve done 100yds on each of the rifles we’ve used for distance shooting.

I ended up with a spare Aimpoint. So it now resides on the anti-varmint pellet rifle. I just can not use the minis. I have 2 or 3 Sparc level red dots and just do not like them.
