    Doesn't do anything a cheaper and lighter SP01 won't do. Won't have the magical stopping power of a regular 1911 or a 97. Won't have the trigger of a Wizard loved plain old CZ. For that money I can buy a 97 with all the bells and whistles, a bunch of extra mags and a case of ammo and still have a few coins left.

    I agree it is a slick mash up. Best of both worlds. CZ grip and magazines. 1911 trigger and you get more surface area on the slide...

    The normal complaint when someone tries my CZ Shadow 2 is the difficult to hold onto (and sharp) slide. The slide on the DWX convinced me I was going to get one until I read that the X has a higher barrel axis than the S2. I think the S2 will remain a better steel challenge pistol.

    The normal complaint when someone tries my CZ Shadow 2 is the difficult to hold onto (and sharp) slide. The slide on the DWX convinced me I was going to get one until I read that the X has a higher barrel axis than the S2. I think the S2 will remain a better steel challenge pistol.
    That was one big thing that I disliked on mine. The rear serrations didn't offer much traction and the angle the slide was cut offered very minimal area to work with.
