I suppose it could be that. He talked about re-bidding out the FCC licenses. I dunno about that. What I want, is for the fairness doctrine to be reinstated by the FCC.

Wasn't that supposedly true of the NRA, also? If you rig the election rules sufficiently and control the vote count and who becomes a candidate, you get WLP clones

I think progress has been made in uprooting some of those that were in opposition. Kinda hoping Part 2 could be more legislative and less EO oriented.

The membership does vote, but the leadership counts the votes.

I spent a lot of years in CWA. Most everyone I knew was a Republican. One guy in particular was a RABID republican. He had no seniority, and was transferred to the other side of Indy on a crappy schedule. He became a RABID Democrat, got a M-F union position, then eventually became vice president. He sold his soul for better schedule.
