Yesh last nights game was one no yankee fan will ever want to remember, and every red sox fan will talk about forever.
Tonight is just ugly half assed playing
None of the teams left in the playoffs could have beaten the Sox last night. They are one of the few teams I've seen this year play "small ball" with basic base hits to the gaps, and they did it brilliantly. It's really cool to see a ball fly over the fence, but most MLB teams seem to have forgotten you can win lots of games with base hits. Frickin' bunt against the shift for crying out loud, it's a simple way to spoil it.
Go Reds! Next year, of course... this was another rebuilding year. <sigh>

I think the sox wanted it last night just like they did tonight but the Yankees handed the game away early and then Boone didnt wanna waste his pitchers so he gave up. That's the only reason they scored so many runs after about 10. Still a blowout in a postseason game.
