Lightning hit about 60 feet away from where I was standing. That's the closest I've ever been to a strike.

When I get home, I'll be able to show you gangsters some photos of the tree that it struck. It was a yikes moment for sure..... it's like your brain is fully aware of everything, but your body is locked up..... you feel it's power to your very core !

Guess you won’t be needing a stress test anytime soon.

    Dang.

We had a few nice downpours today. The garden loves it.

MM when I was on the roof of a Walmart super store with my boss working on the refrigeration shed a big storm rolled through. Several strikes on the store and a few very close to us. Made ourselves very small to take cover. My boss got hit in some feed back through the steel structure that the refer shed was set on.
Knocked him for a loop. Pretty tense moments.

I'm awaiting an abatement of the Zeus bolts to get out and uncouple from this trlr. Raining hard in Seymour.

I rolled in at 10p right after it. I was on hwy 9 heading south and got a helluva lightning display. Didn't rain hard during my flight.

Impromptu pantless run to Hancock Co. with combined quick meet from a very close friend in Greenfield.

Been a rough couple of weeks on the flora round here.
It has been. We keep water on the garden regularly but rain is what it likes/wants.
Cucumbers are running amok. Onions are doing really well. Tomatoes are coming in red just the last few days. Peppers are slow.
The woman folk want to brew up some salsa from what we planted this year. Should be interesting.
