You need an old gun.

My youngest has a 1907 Savage pistol inbound today. It's the first double stack design made. 10 rounds of .32 ACP doesn't sound impressive today but in 1907, it was probably pretty decent.

Morning all.

I'm up early. Nasty T-storm came through. Power is out. I'll have some clean up to do outside later. Everything outside is blown over/away. Our deck chairs we have on the front porch are in the neighbors bushes.




We found out our front door leaks. Right through the seams in wood. It faces north and this is the first time we've had serious rain like this.



It's the wife's birthday today. She's thrilled about how it's starting out.

Very good and underrated gun today. The 1907 and 1917 Savages were, and still are great small semi autos.

Visited the home of painter Joaquín Sorolla this morning, he was a turn if the century Spanish portrait painter. Impressive home and even more impressive art. Travel today to Lisbon for more adventures.

Our daughter has a fever and feels like . Since my mom and dad are just finishing up with covid, we're shipping her over there.

The boy is at the other grandma's. So maybe this will turn out to be just an intimate day my wife and I.

Houghton Lake, MI for my first delivery today. Drove through the rain on I69 this morning. Nothing severe when I went through. Just a little lightning. It is sunny and hot here. Beautiful day to be on the lake.
