The can on the right is Budevar…..God’s Pilsner from Czech. It is 16 years old. Budevar, translated to English came back as Budweiser. Budevar’s recipe comes from the 1400’s….just a little older than the American Pilsner. Budweiser execs drank the CZ golden Pilsner and said, “our beer is krap!!!” and sewed Budevar. They quit importing into the US,…..BUT…..a few years ago, changed their golden pilsner’s name to Czechevar!!!!
Friends pick it up for us from a distributor in Chicago.

Ever try Bohemia? A little darker with a hint of sweet. Excellent Mexican beer with spicy food. Would probably help when spicy is around as well;)

I haven't tried it, but I might have to since you recommend it. I love to try new beers. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but either way you get to drink beer... :D

Matty : answer puleez, did I read that correctly "un-exploded torpedoes"..??

Yep. Fishing in New York ain’t like fishing in Indiana.

Another favorite fishing spot was the dumping grounds for the New York City Municipal Waste.

When we would bring the boat back into the Hudson River and dock it in Tarrytown, we would day fish the outlets around the Indian point nuclear power plant.

I’m sure it was all safe.

No. We never ventured much north of Peekskill by water.
I worked with some union electricians out of Paramus that loved to fish. I never had time to when I was there but they would go up there quite often and always talk that place up during lunch breaks and such.

Warm water outlets from power plants are usually considered good fishing spots. That said, probably best to catch and release in those areas...
