    Morning all!
I'm going a bit slow today. Yesterday I hurt my back a little moving some boxes of paper at work. It was going fine until I got the stack perhaps a bit too high. A hot shower this morning seemed to really help. I'm not out of commission, but I am having to really slow down so that I don't hurt it further.

I stopped down at USDS yesterday and was looking at a Saginaw M1 Carbine that they had gotten in but had not priced yet. It’s an early, non-re-arsenaled rifle in decent shape. No import marks that I could see. I made an offer and Chad will give me a call after he’s done some research on it. Fingers crossed right now, as I have been wanting to add another M1 Carbine to the family.

I don’t know why, but I really like those rifles. They’re handy little things.
I went into the Columbus satellite store for the first time yesterday. Didn't have a whole lot, hopefully they send more stock. Had some barrels of interest, but all were midlength gas tubes.

The only thing I don't like about the one he got is that it doesn't have front strap checkering, but that's easily fixed either by putting Pearce finger grooves on it, or having AllenM add the checkering.
Anyone have experience with this? Was thinking of trying it out on my SA RO

Hey guys. My son has written a children's book and he's trying to scrape together some funds to get it illustrated and into print . He's been getting the drawings done at $35 a page as he can afford to but I'd like to get him jumpstarted if anyone has a few bucks they can spare, he'd be grateful and so would I.

I used one from Wilson Combat on my SA Lightweight Loaded before having Allen checker it for me. Spicey is right, it's held on by the grip panels. No need for tape or adhesives, it stays put nicely and it works great for the price. Its also easy on the fingers for those with sensitive fingers.

Edit- I shouldve opened the link, that's the one I used. You won't be disappointed.

Hope you get better. It's amazing how heavy paper can be. We just printed a big job on 13x19 100# gloss coated cover. The cases are only about 7" tall x 13 x 19, but that stuff is heavy.
