I would swear those little sucker's have wings and I usually refer to it as the ---- me spring when they take flight:laugh:

Lost the second "---- me spring" putting it back together. Good thing I had a spare, spare replacement on hand.

Finished installing a CGW Defensive Carry Package, “old style” 85C trigger and fiber optic front sight in my CZ P-01. The trigger pull dropped from something above 10 lbs DA to 8.5 lbs and from 4.75 lbs to 3.25 lbs SA and got rid of the LONG SA pull following the take up.

I'm happy with it now for a defensive pistol.

Not a difficult install if you are used to working with small bits and pistol actions. For anyone wanting to do this, I highly recommend getting the CGW starter punch and slave pin for the sear cage assembly (and just go ahead and order a couple of the "L" lifter springs for the one/s you will lose...lol). Also get decent quality 2mm and 3mm roll pin punches. You don't need the 2mm if you are not replacing the front sight.

Ever try Cool Hand brand? I ordered a single pair (not a large order which may have affected time frame for your order) on Tuesday and received them on Friday. Sold through Amazon, $44 with screws and free shipping.

The cool hands are nice and looks like they have gone down in price. Here's mine ;)

How do the compare to VZ?

Ban the fools, not the tools I say. wtburnette

Life's too short to put up with a crappy trigger. Birds Away

I like them. I think the VZ's are a little higher quality, but not by much. These are definitely worth the money. I also don't remember getting screws with my VZ purchases, but I may not be remembering correctly.

Prices run from about $40 to $60 depending on the model. I don't think they have come down in price. I have 3 pair that I bought over the last year and prices seem the same every time I look.
    Last week's purchase https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BDB4T9...HL&pd_rd_r=HR94G41TRN6KEE8AWQF5&pd_rd_w=qxCc5

I guess I only paid ~$47 for mine. Thought it was more.

I have Cool Hand grips for my Rami and my P-01. The grips for the Rami were $36.99 and included screws. The grips for the P-01 were $63.99 and didn't include screws. I ordered the stainless screws they offered for $18.00.
