It was a good time this morning. I ended up taking the Redhawk but the new shooter didn't get a chance to shoot that one. I'm guessing that he would have been game had we not run out of time there.

Another successful range trip to report. After just under 200 rounds, the PCR with the ultra-lite kit from CGW ran like a sewing machine, it's good to go. And what a pleasant and accurate shooter. I'm a happy Hopper!

So I guess AllenM ran the new 10mm today. I am waiting on video.

    So are we.

I musta got some deer poo in my salad last night. Felt like crap all day and finally pitched up my pancakes and smoked sausage about 13:00. Took a shower and a nap and feel some better. Still some lovely watery stool and my nose plugged up. Keeping water down so mending. Ugh, what a day.

Man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully you get feeling better soon.

I got the CGW trigger for the P10 today. I started out with the HBI trigger in and it was giving a consistent 3lb 10oz pull. With the CGW trigger, it is now a consistent 4lb flat pull, but the reset is very short. I need to run some ammo through it to see how it feels, but I'm liking it so far. The slight increase in pull weight is offset by a better feel. The HBI trigger is still damn good though and the one I have is going to go into the carry P10C.

On a side note, I think I'm screwing up the middle finger on my strong hand. after shooting today, it seems to lock into place and kind of stick. Once I pop it, it then feels fine again until I do something that causes it to pop again. It's really weird how it happens. I'm not sure if it's coming from the Redhawk or the G23 I picked up a couple of weeks ago. The G23, as are all G***k pistols, hard on that knuckle. Even with relieving the trigger guard out, it's still banging up that knuckle. But, that dang Redhawk might be what's doing it though. That thing puts out an impressive ball of fire.

I might just stick to breaking in the P10C trigger for a range trip or two.

The trigger on the P10C is really shaping up though. It's not, and never will be, a 1911 trigger but it feels really good for a striker fired pistol. I am really hoping that the trigger irritation is gone though.

88 - which spring did you have with the HBI trigger? Just got my HBI today. Thought I might put it in tonight...leaning toward the lighter spring. After maybe only 350 rounds its at about 4 lbs 10 oz with the stock trigger.
