I could have easily spent that much there today, but I'm still recouping from my Holiday shopping spree. To fully cajunize the other 3 guns I would need race hammers and disconnectors. That's almost $400 right there. I'm also really liking these triggers with the overtravel adjustment, which I have two that currently are rocking the 97 style thick trigger, because at the time those triggers were only like $22 each and were an improvement over the stock black re-curve trigger. So to do triggers I would add another $70-$84. I'm also interested in doing the upgraded barrel bushings on three guns, there goes another $180. :faint:
I have been lucky that not very many guns have needed the new bushings.

    Good morning BA.

Doing the upgrades incrementally drives me nuts. I can't do it.
I understand that completely. I'd rather order it all the first time and be done. I make lists, because I will forget things I wanted/needed, but then I end up getting tired of looking at the list for too long.

I have been lucky that not very many guns have needed the new bushings.
I suppose an already "accurate" gun wouldn't necessarily qualify for the bushing.

    Morning all... :coffee:

There's something about that gun that feels completely different than my steel compact. I love that compact, and it's got the full Pro kit in it, but it does not feel like yours does. I might have to order a SAO trigger and do some additional polishing to see if I can get it close. What sights are you running again?

TFX. I need to pick up a set of pros sometime to see what I think about them.

Quick little in thread survey. Trying to decide on sights for "Shiny", the 75B Polished. Mainly range use in mind, but really doesn't matter necessarily, it's all about which are liked more in general.

    What say you CZ folks?

TFX Pros. Haven't used them, but I love the standard TFX and I imagine the pros are just that much better.

I have been lucky that not very many guns have needed the new bushings.

I was going to ask you about bushings. When do you decide one is needed?

    Morning folks! :coffee:

As much as I wanted to go with the TFX Pros, I could not swing that right now. There are still Fiat parts to buy and the P07 still needs night sights. I have Meeps on everything else except the DE and 75B/40 and could finish the P07 if I downgraded my sight choice. I can't see the things most of the time anyway, so it's not a big take away for me.

I have put the bushing on two guns. Both of them were very inconsistent even on those rare days when I was shooting reasonably well. It's a tough call.

I was trying to decide if I needed it for my SP-01. I don't have the cash to order CGW parts yet, but I hope to in a month or so. This will be a first for me, as I want to have it cerakoted as well as having the Wizard work his magic on it :)

I've developed the skill to rationalize just about anything. I'm amazed at some of the stupid s*** that I've convinced myself I needed. Among the worst are shoulder holsters. I rarely use a shoulder holster, but convinced myself that I needed another one for winter carry. Guess how many times I've actually used it?

On a different, yet sadly most likely related note, I'm thinking that I want to do the SP01C and SP01C/40 up as twins when finished. I think that will require a bit of Cerakote but I'm not sure about the color yet. Part of me likes the sniper grey look, but there's also midnight blue to consider.

I'm pretty sure sometime last year, BA posted a shot of his 85 that was coated in midnight blue, with wooden grips. It turned out to be a very fetching combination, IMHO.
