    I'm pretty sure sometime last year, BA posted a shot of his 85 that was coated in midnight blue, with wooden grips. It turned out to be a very fetching combination, IMHO.

    The midnight blue was one of my favorites.

    Decisions decisions. It's hard trying to figure out what a gun should look like. Currently looking at several trying to figure out how they should look. Gonna play around with some Cerakote by mixing some colors, see if I can come up with something special.

    I will have the entire family (well, the handguns anyway) together this afternoon for the first time in ages. I think maybe a family picture is in order.

    I think that I need to slow the koolaid guzzling down a bit. I added up all the parts I'd need to finish the unfinished project guns I have and it came to over 3k worth of parts needed after this last parts buy. There are some 1911 projects in that total. To CM, that's just one guns worth of parts. For me, that's spread across a few.

    I'm gonna take it easy for a little bit. I have some other things to take care of. Then I really should be concentrating on ammo so I can continue to run these ladies. Sure am having a lot of fun right now though!
