    CM's in his happy place...

I didn't get any work done on my workshop today. I did buy the oak trim for the work bench though, so it was not a total loss for the day. I also picked up a new box of biscuits for the biscuit joiner for when I join the counter tops together. Fun stuff.

Here's an interesting gun for anyone that wants in on the .40 frustration: http://www.gunbroker.com/item/621639431

A full size 75B in .40 with 4 mags with a buy it now price of $395 is not a bad deal at all. That's almost down in surplus money territory.

Good Morning Tom, Pack, T-D! :coffee:

How's everyone doing today? I'm in that window where you have ordered needed parts before you can run a gun, but have not gotten a shipping confirmation yet. That's always a frustrating time for me. I'm impatient but it's always tough thinking I know how to fix something, but having to wait on the shipping company before testing my theory out.

I'm no Norm Abrahms, that's for sure. I'm just adding an oak edge to the workbench to keep from getting plywood splinters in my gut while working. Once the bench surfaces are attached and trimmed, I'll run a quick quarter round router over the edge, sand and give them a couple of coats of polyurethane to make them look nice for an hour or two before I start a project and screw them up.

I am looking into a 16" barrel for my .308 AR "Pistol"
It has a 10.5" on it now with the blade. As much fun as it is to shoot I want something I can shoulder with out fear of reprisal.

Good morning all. Saturday looks like a great day to burn up some ammo. Henrietta needs to shoot her a Ruger 9 mm 1911 and her shiny 75B.

Ya that is frustrating. I hate having projects unfinished...bugs the hell out of me and I'm knee deep in them. I need to order some springs for my 97… Slide wasn't wanting to go into battery every few rounds. At least the first two. Seems like the first three rounds had issues and it ran fine after that.
