It seems that I'm quickly running out of cars at the house. Last week, someone hit my son's car and that's still not fixed so he's been driving our old '98. Now, that one's down with a very loud center support bearing. Fortunately, he works at the same place my wife does, but with an offset shift and also fortunately, I can work from home as needed so we are doing a sort of car swap now. The wife drives into work and I work from home in the morning. Then, when I head into the office around 10ish, I drop him off and later, I pick the wife up around 5 or 6 and he brings her car home. I need to get rid of all of these old cars. The average age of the cars in my driveway is almost 25 years old with a total summed age of 198 years. Old cars can be a lot of fun if you don't depend on them for the commute.

Isn't that funny how that works out? You have more cars than most of the people you know, but you're running out! Been there, done that.... I love the old cars and one of them has actually proven to be the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned, that's the one in my avatar....

My son's car is approaching 30 years old and it seems like there is not a month that goes by without it needing some work done to it. That car's been in the family for about 16 years and some of the work that comes up is replacing worn out parts that I replace when I bought it. It's been a tough car to keep all of the lights working at the same time. Old connections and corroded grounds are usually the culprit.

Morning WTB. The Wizard and I are hitting the range today to do some function checks. But we are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday and just running some for fun. You will be the first in the group to see his new custom 97. It is a real sweetheart.

I'm really looking forward to it. Should be the highpoint of my "vacation"
